Help Us Grow Our Library: We Need More Bookshelves!
Our school library has always been a place of imagination, discovery, and growth. One learner shared that she loves the school library because it is a place where she gets lost in a world of fairytales, adventure and courage. Every day, students visit the library to explore new stories, search for information and find a quiet space to read and learn. Thanks to generous book donations and increased student interest, our collection has grown this year — which is wonderful news! However, we are now facing a small challenge: we are running out of bookshelf space. Many books are currently stacked on tables or stored in boxes, making it difficult for students to browse and access them easily. A well-organized library encourages reading, supports literacy development, and creates an inviting learning environment. We are therefore reaching out to our school community — parents, international and local supporters — to help us purchase additional bookshelves in order to uplift the face of our library. Adding just a few sturdy shelves will allow us to properly display our books, keep the library organized, and create a welcoming space for students. If you would like to support this effort, you can: • Donate funds toward new bookshelves • Contribute gently used, sturdy shelving units • Share our request within the community Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference. Together, we can continue building a library that inspires a lifelong love of reading. Thank you for supporting our learners and their learning journey!
